Man charged in October shooting that injured four in downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man has been arrested in an October shooting that injured four people in downtown Lincoln.
Chudier Tut, 20, was lodged Tuesday in the Lancaster County Jail, according to booking records.
He is charged with four counts of second-degree assault and use of a firearm to commit a felony, court documents say.
An arrest affidavit was not yet available.
A Lancaster County judge set Tut’s bond at $500,000 at a court hearing Wednesday. He must pay $50,000 to be released from jail.
Tut’s next court appearance is set for June 3.
On Oct. 20 around 12:45 a.m., officers were sent to 14th and O streets on a report of a shooting, the Lincoln Police Department said.
They found one victim at 13th and O streets with an injury that was not life-threatening, according to police.
Three other victims arrived at a local hospital shortly after. They also had injuries that were not life-threatening.
Last month, 17-year-old Teethloach Biel was arrested in the shooting.
He was charged with six felonies, including second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
