Man cited in deadly motorcycle crash on Highway 77 in southwest Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was ticketed Wednesday in a deadly motorcycle crash in southwest Lincoln last month.
A 67-year-old man turned himself in and was cited on suspicion of motor vehicle homicide, a Class 1 misdemeanor.
The crash happened on July 11 around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 77 and West Pioneers Boulevard.
Police said the man turned left in front of the motorcyclist, 48-year-old Robert Finley, at the intersection.
Finley, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
