Man convicted of multiple murders dies at Nebraska correctional facility

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Decabooter Williams died at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution on Tuesday morning.
The Department of Correctional Services says the cause of his death has not been determined at this time.
Williams was being treated for medical conditions. The 71-year-old began his life sentence back in 2004.
Department officials say a grand jury will conduct an investigation into his death, as is the case whenever an inmate dies.
Williams was convicted of two counts of first degree murder following a Douglas County house fire in 2003.
Victoria Burgess and LaTisha Tolbert were killed after Williams filled a wine bottle with gasoline and started the blaze.
