Man dead after southeast Nebraska UTV crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities said Friday that a southeast Nebraska man died after a UTV crash.

The crash happened on Tuesday in a field near Cook, according to the Johnson County Attorney’s Office.

Cook is about 45 miles southeast of Lincoln.

Officials said the sole occupant of the UTV, Paul Wilken of Cook, was taken to Johnson County Hospital.

He was then transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he died.
