LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man died Tuesday after being pinned between his vehicle and a restaurant in Grand Island, police say.

At around 10:20 a.m., first responders were sent to McDonald’s near West Second and North Adams streets.

When first responders arrived, they found 69-year-old Michael Dickinson pinned between the vehicle and the building in the drive-thru lane.

Police did not say what led up to Dickinson being pinned between the vehicle and the building.

Dickinson was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Grand Island Police Department’s accident reconstruction team helped with the investigation.
