Man fired gun during argument at house party near Lincoln, deputy says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was caught Wednesday after he fired a gun at a house party near Lincoln, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says.
Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were sent to a home near North 84th Street and Waverly Road on a report of a disturbance.
During a party at the home, 29-year-old David Nies started arguing with a woman, Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said.
Both of them went into the bathroom, and Nies pulled out a gun and fired it into the floor, according to Houchin.
Nies fired two more shots outside the home and left in a pickup truck.
Around 12:50 a.m., deputies found Nies at the Foxy Gentlemen’s Club near Antelope Valley Parkway and O Street.
He was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
