Man found with gun, meth and marijuana during traffic stop, Lincoln Police say
Ammunition, THC wax and drug-related items were also found inside 38-year-old Jeremy Stuart's vehicle.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Tuesday after authorities found a stolen gun, methamphetamine and marijuana inside his vehicle during a traffic stop, Lincoln Police say.
Investigators with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force pulled over 38-year-old Jeremy Stuart at the Hy-Vee gas station at 250 N. 52nd St. for a traffic violation.
Investigators noticed open alcohol containers inside and the smell of marijuana, according to Lincoln Police.
Stuart told the investigators he had a pipe and 4 grams of methamphetamine in his pocket. They then searched the vehicle and found a pistol, two boxes of ammunition, 10.5 grams of marijuana, THC wax and drug-related items inside a bag.
The gun had been reported stolen from Acher Arms in 2016, according to Lincoln Police.
Stuart was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony.
