Man found with gunshot wounds at Lancaster County home dies from injuries
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The 62-year-old man found with gunshot wounds at a northwest Lancaster County home last week has died.
Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said Robert Boshart died from his injuries Monday evening. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Just before 2 p.m. Friday, deputies were sent on a welfare check to a home near Northwest 98th and West Adams streets.
Deputies forced their way into the home and found Robert and JoAnn Boshart, 62, with gunshot wounds, Houchin said.
JoAnn was pronounced dead at the scene, and Robert was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
An autopsy showed that JoAnn was shot in the head, Houchin said.
An investigation is ongoing.
