LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man will spend over a decade in prison for selling meth across southeast Nebraska, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.

Justin Britthouer, 36, was sentenced Tuesday to 11 years in prison for possession of meth with intent to distribute.

On Aug. 13, 2022, Britthouer was pulled over by the Beatrice Police Department for driving erratically, the attorney’s office said.

While taking a sobriety test, Britthouer told officers that there were drugs in his vehicle.

Officers found about 68 grams of pure meth, and Britthouer admitted to selling drugs in southeast Nebraska, according to the attorney’s office.

After his prison sentence, he will serve a five-year term of supervised release.  There is no parole in the federal system.
