Man headbutts officer during arrest in Grand Island, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man headbutted an officer in Grand Island on Monday after causing a scene at a strip mall, police say.
Just before 5 p.m., the panic alarm went off at a business near Highway 281 and State Street.
Police said Jason Wojnarski had caused a disturbance, scaring the employee.
Officers removed him from the business, then learned he had threatened a woman at another business at the strip mall, according to the Grand Island Police Department.
Wojnarski was placed in handcuffs, but police said he started to push against the officer who was escorting him outside.
He then headbutted the officer in the face, causing injury, according to GIPD.
Wojnarski was booked in the Hall County Jail on suspicion of assault on an officer, menacing threats and resisting arrest.
