Man in critical condition after being hit by semi on I-80 near Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man suffered serious injuries Saturday morning after being hit by a semitrailer west of Lincoln.
Around 5:40 a.m., several agencies responded to the crash on Interstate near mile marker 393, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.
Bryan Martinez, 25, of Lincoln was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to the sheriff’s office.
An investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff’s office said it’s unclear why Martinez was walking in the area.
The crash shut down a part of I-80 for several hours. It has since been reopened.
