Man in critical condition after motorbike crash on O Street, Lincoln police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition Saturday night after a crash in central Lincoln.

Just before 7:45 p.m., investigators with the Lincoln Police Department were driving near 28th and O streets when they witnessed a crash between a pickup truck and a motorbike.

LPD said the pickup was driving west on O Street and hit the motor bike, which was crossing traffic mid-block driving south.

According to LPD, the investigators immediately started rendering aid on scene and called in Lincoln Fire & Rescue.

The rider of the bike — a 29-year-old man — was taken to an area hospital where he is in critical, but stable, condition.
