Man kicked and kneed workers at Grand Island hospital, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man assaulted two health care workers early Monday morning at a Grand Island hospital, police say.
It happened about 1:30 a.m. at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center, according to the Grand Island Police Department.
A medical staff member was taking Noel Martinez Perez to the bathroom when he kicked them in the head, police said.
Then when another health care worker was trying to tighten restraints on Martinez Perez, he kneed them in face, which GIPD said caused visible redness and swelling.
Martinez Perez was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault on a health care professional.
