Man kicks in Nebraska home’s door and goes after people with a knife, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of kicking in the front door of a Nebraska home and then going after two people with a knife.

This all began on Saturday around 9 a.m., according to the Grand Island Police Department.

It says David Perez Moreno was using the knife aggressively while confronting a woman and man who live there.

GIPD tells us the man responded by waving a gun, which led to a fight.  Moreno is then accused of striking the man in the head, causing an injury.

Police eventually arrested Moreno who’s charged with multiple assaults, terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and criminal mischief.
