Man killed in crash east of Lincoln is identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities on Tuesday identified the man killed in a crash east of Lincoln.
Thomas Heath, 61, of Lincoln died Monday after the crash, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened about 12:30 p.m. on O Street near 162nd Street.

Investigators determined that Heath was going east in a Ford Focus when he drifted into the westbound lane.
The Ford collided head-on with an SUV.
Heath was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the SUV, a 32-year-old Lincoln man, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
