LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was killed Saturday night in a rollover crash on Interstate 80 in western Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol said the crash happened around 11:50 p.m. near Maxwell.

A Toyota pickup truck was heading east when it rolled over due to winter conditions, the patrol said.

A passenger, 19-year-old Bernardo Jimenez Benavidez of York, was ejected.  He was taken to a North Platte hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The three other people in the pickup were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

An investigation is ongoing.
