LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police say a thief went hog wild with a stolen restaurant van.

On Friday morning, the restaurant near 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway reported that its van was stolen overnight.

The Sioux City Police Department in Iowa later spotted the van and gave chase.

Police said officers eventually caught up to 51-year-old Dennis Hoffman and arrested him.

He was booked into the Woodbury County Jail early Saturday morning on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, failure to stop for law enforcement and driving under a suspended license.
