LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man’s night out in Lincoln last month led to the theft of his vehicle and wallet, court documents say.

On Feb. 16, a man met with 37-year-old Trisha Williams, who went by the pseudonym “Cream,” in a parking lot near 13th and F streets.

The man had been talking with Williams through a website that advertises prostitution, according to an arrest affidavit.

After leaving a bar, the two “hung out” in the man’s car for a while, the affidavit says.

Eventually, Williams “wandered off” with his car keys.  The man called his roommate to have him bring a spare key.

The next morning, he texted Williams asking for his key back.

They met near 17th and L streets, where Williams convinced him to help jump-start her friend’s vehicle near 20th and F streets.

While trying to jump-start the car, Williams said she needed to pick up two male friends, according to the affidavit.

The man drove her to pick up the two friends, and all four returned to 20th and F streets.

One of Williams’ friends asked for the man’s car keys and told him to go hook the jumper cables up, the affidavit says.

While the man was hooking up the cables, the other friend approached him with a utility knife, according to the affidavit.

The man gave up his checkbook, $120 in cash, four credit cards and cellphone.  Williams and the two men left in his vehicle, the affidavit alleges.

During an investigation, authorities identified Williams as a suspect through security video at several stores where the man’s credit cards were used.

On Feb. 21, the man’s vehicle was found in an Omaha parking lot.  The original license plates had been removed.

Williams was arrested Thursday on suspicion of two felony theft charges.

A Lancaster County judge set Williams’ bond at $15,000.  She must pay $1,500 to be released from jail.
