Man ran off after threatening woman with rifle in Lancaster County, sheriff says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are searching for a man who threatened a woman with a rifle in Lancaster County on Saturday, the sheriff’s office says.

Sheriff Terry Wagner said 27-year-old Patrick Wolfe threatened the woman on a property near North 27th Street and Davey Road around 3:45 p.m.

By the time deputies arrived, Wolfe had left the area.  Deputies later found a .22-caliber rifle and ammo on the property, according to Wagner.

Authorities searched for Wolfe – who is wanted on several active arrest warrants – until 11 p.m., but he was not found.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 402-441-6500.
