LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Friday after police say he aimed a long gun at officers in Lincoln.

Around 10:20 p.m., officers received a report of a man firing a pellet gun from the balcony of an apartment near 27th and Vine streets.

When officers arrived, they demanded that Brandon Scalf, 30, come out.  Scalf then pointed a long gun at officers, police said.

An officer shocked Scalf with a Taser before he ran into an apartment, police said.

Scalf was shocked two more times before officers took him into custody.

After being released from the hospital, Scalf was arrested on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm and using a firearm to commit a felony.
