Man steals Walmart shopping scooter and heads to Casey’s, Nebraska police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of stealing a shopping scooter from a Nebraska Walmart and then taking it on a trip to Casey’s.
The Grand Island Police Department said this happened at the city’s north Walmart on Thursday around 6 p.m.
Police eventually found the $2,750 scooter at the intersection of Highway 281 and West Capital Avenue.
Nicholas Freeman was then located at the nearby Casey’s.
He was arrested on suspicion of theft by unlawful taking.
