Man stabbed in chest after O Street hookah lounge fight, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was stabbed in the chest early Saturday morning after a fight at a hookah lounge on O Street, Lincoln Police say.

Around 2:00 a.m., officers were sent to the O Street 88 Hookah Lounge near 16th and O Streets on a report of three men fighting.

When officers arrived, they did not see anyone fighting.

But, officers did find a 37-year-old with a stab wound to the chest.

The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

Police believe the fight started because of a disagreement regarding a possible traffic crash.

Police say the suspect was described as a white man wearing a yellow vest.
