Man stabbed in north Lincoln neighborhood, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was stabbed Sunday in a north Lincoln neighborhood, police say.
Around 11:45 a.m., officers were sent to North 29th and Starr streets on a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived but couldn’t find the victim, according to LPD.
Later on, investigators learned the victim — a 19-year-old boy — was taken to a hospital by a friend.
The victim had a cut on his abdomen, along with two puncture wounds to his chest. Police said his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
