Man steals jeans from Gateway Mall, returns because he forgot his wallet and ID in the store

Lincoln Police say a would-be thief returned to the store where he made off with four pairs of jeans because he forgot his wallet.
LPD says Andrew Nabity, 22, stole four pairs of Revival jeans from The Buckle store at Gateway Mall Tuesday afternoon.
Police say he selected the jeans then decided to run out of the store, but his wallet fell out of his pocket as he was running away.
Police say Nabity returned to the store a few minutes later to ask for the wallet, claiming it belonged to his twin brother.
Nabity attempted to change his appearance by removing the jacket he was wearing, but store employees told police they weren’t fooled.
Officers cited and released Nabity for shoplifting.
Police say Nabity told them he threw the jeans – valued at $160 a pair – in dumpsters, but they have not been found.
