Man stole several tiny booze bottles from west Lincoln gas station, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating the theft of several tiny alcohol bottles from a west Lincoln gas station.

The theft was reported Sunday around 4:30 a.m. at the Casey’s near Southwest Sixth and West A Streets.

Police said a man entered the store and grabbed a display full of shooter-size alcohol bottles.

An employee followed the thief and was confronted by a group of men waiting by a vehicle.

The employee was punched and knocked to the ground before the group drove off, police said.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.

Police are unsure how many shooter-sized alcohol bottles were stolen.
