Man stopped for signal violation, arrested for drug charges
Austin Tenbrink, 21, of Grandville, Mich. was found with a gun, drugs and cash during a traffic stop.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested 21-year-old Austin Tenbrink of Grandville, Mich. after police stopped him for a signal violation and found drugs, a gun and cash.
Police stopped Tenbrick at NW 48th St. and W O. St. for a signal violation.
The officer searched Tenbrick’s vehicle and found the following:
- 16 fluid ounces of codeine syrup
- 3 pounds of marijuana
- 3 pounds of meth
- 1.7 pounds of Ecstacy tablets
- 199 THC vape cartridges
- 364 Xanax bars
- 28,600 milligrams of THC edible products
- Stolen pistol
- $1141 in cash
Police arrested Tenbrink for possession of a firearm during drug violations.
Police also cited Tenbrink for controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of money while violating drug law and evading drug tax law.
A 16-year-old male passenger, a missing juvenile from Wyoming, Mich., was in the vehicle at the time of the arrest and was lodged at the Young Adult Court for drug violations.
