The caller, later identified as 51-year-old Dana Wright, told officers that his upstairs neighbors had been stomping on the floor, according to police.

Officers eventually left the apartment but were called back less than 30 minutes later.

Wright said the neighbors, an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, started stomping again and broke his light fixture.

Officers then spoke with the neighbors, who showed a video of Wright yelling and approaching them with a steak knife, police say.

The neighbors had gone back inside their apartment “in fear of Wright,” according to police.

Officers then arrested Wright on suspicion of terroristic threats and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
