Man threatened victim with pocket knife over $5 debt in west Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man armed with a pocket knife tried to get his money back from a debtor early Saturday morning, Lincoln Police say.

Around 2:40 a.m., officers were sent to First Street and Cornhusker Highway after a caller reported that Joe Policky, 58, was chasing a man with a knife.

When officers arrived, the victim told police that Policky was threatening him with a pocket knife over a $5 debt, according to police.

Officers found the knife in Policky’s pocket and took him into custody.  He was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats.
