Man trapped under pickup truck after rollover crash in rural southeast Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four people were injured Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash in rural Gage County.
Around 2:30 p.m., the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash near Holmesville, just southeast of Beatrice.
The pickup was heading south when the driver lost control and rolled over, the sheriff’s office said.
It came to a stop in a bean field.
The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
One of the passengers – a 20-year-old man – was found trapped under the pickup.
Emergency crews rescued the man and took him to a Beatrice hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Two other passengers were also taken to the Beatrice hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office said it’s unknown if seat belts were being used. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
