Man tried breaking into northwest Lincoln day care, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who tried breaking into a northwest Lincoln daycare last month.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on April 17 at a daycare near Northwest 48th Street and West Huntington Avenue.
Security cameras captured a man carrying a bag and walking around the property.
An employee arrived at work the next day and noticed someone had tried to pry open the back door, according to police.
The door’s deadbolt was also damaged.
Police are also looking for a man who vandalized four different signs and light poles around the State Capitol on April 23.
When a security guard approached the man, he ran away, police said.
