Man vs. beast: PBR bull riding comes to Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A big bull riding show is coming to Lincoln this weekend.

The Pendleton Whiskey Velocity Tour has competitions in five different countries all over the world.

On Saturday, it will be at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Competitors will attempt to stay on a very angry bull for eight full seconds, which sounds a lot easier than it is.

Larry the Cable Guy, a Lincoln resident, has put up a $10,000 bounty for the best bull rider in the competition.

If the winner on Saturday is able to ride Mr. Koolie, the toughest bull, he will get the $10,000.

This is the first bounty of the tour, but it’s not an uncommon practice.

Riders accumulate points all season to compete in the grand finals held in Texas in May

This event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
