Man wanted in pair of robberies arrested in east Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A wanted man was arrested Thursday after trying to run from authorities in east Lincoln, police say.

Around 1 p.m., LPD’s SWAT team was preparing to serve a search warrant at a home near 54th and Orchard streets as part of an ongoing investigation.

When officers arrived, 32-year-old Dominique Moody ran out of the home.  He was taken into custody shortly after, police said.

Moody was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including two counts of using a firearm to commit a felony.

Police said Moody was involved in back-to-back robberies in north Lincoln last week.
