Manager flooded Nebraska restaurant on his last night, authorities say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A manager at a Malcolm restaurant allegedly let his frustrations — and the sinks — spill over on his last night.

Nathaniel Babb was quitting his job at Genoa Food Company, and as his last act on Saturday night, he plugged the sinks, left the water running, locked up and headed out, authorities say.

By Sunday morning, the water was about 4 inches deep and went into the bar area, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

Damage is currently estimated at only a couple hundred dollars, but that may go up if mold is found in the walls.

The 27-year-old was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief.
