Mandatory evacuations issued for five communities in Saunders County

Saunders County Emergency Management has issued a Mandatory Evacuation Order for the following communities due to imminent levee failure along the Platte River.

Thomas Lakes

Lake Allure

Big Sandy

Sandy Pointe Lake

Wann

Emergency Personnel are in the area facilitating the evacuation. Please follow their directions and leave the area for your safety.

These three communities are located in Clear Creek, Nebraska, that’s just southwest of Gretna.
