A Lincoln man had his car window shot out while he and his three–year–old daughter were in the car.
It happened around 6:30 yesterday evening after the man picked up his daughter from a babysitter.
"As the man pulled away, he heard a gunshot, and then discovered his back, passenger side window had been shattered," says Officer Katie Flood with Lincoln Police Department.
The 31-year-old man parked in an alley on the 900 block of G street when he was approached by two men who were upset about him parking there.
The man said he went inside to get his daughter, came back out, and was driving away when the shot was fired.
He was able to give a description of the two men who approached him.
"We are looking for the two suspects. both are described as their early to mid 20s, one was a black male, 6–foot to 6–foot 2–inches tall with a thin build. the other was a Hispanic male, closer to 5–8, also with a thin build," adds Officer Flood.
Police did recover a bullet from the man’s car. Neither the man nor his daughter were injured.
