Many people continue to remember the lives of two recent Lincoln High graduates

Friends say 18-year-old Jairo Lopez Perez and 19-year-old Edgar Mora were shot and killed in their car after leaving a party in central Mexico in early January.
Friends say Jairo and Edgar were best friends and recently graduated from Lincoln High School. They were just visiting family in Mexico when things took a bad turn.
Family and Friends say a lot will be missed moving forward.
“He would always be putting himself first to pain than others,” Jairo’s sister, Martha Lopez said.
“Every time I was feeling down, he would always be there, Edgar’s girlfriend, Alondra Quiroz said.
The mass was at the Cristo Rey Church in which Jairo frequently attended with his family. Family and friends could not stop talking about how thoughtful the two men were, they always putting others first.
Alondra said the hardest thing about moving forward is knowing she will never see Edgar again.
Martha said Jairo’s goal was to build his parents a house. He had used close to every one of his paycheck’s to buy a lot for the house.
