Masks no longer required on Lincoln city buses
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Starting Tuesday, masks will no longer be required on StarTran buses. The decision follows the Monday court ruling that ended the national mask mandate on public transportation.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time. StarTran will continue to review and update its policies as necessary.
Airports in Lincoln and Omaha also terminated their mask requirements as of Tuesday morning.
