Rhule’s staff will now feature three new coordinators in 2025, including Offensive Coordinator Dana Holgorsen, Defensive Coordinator John Butler and the new special teams coordinator.
This move was expected by many, as the special team woes for Nebraska were prominent in 2024. The Huskers had 10 total kicks blocked and many snapping issues on field goals and extra points.
Notable offseason moves on the special teams side of the ball include transfer portal grabs in punter Jack McCallister from Washington, and long snapper Kevin Gallic from New Hampshire.
