Meet Gizmo, now up for adoption at Capital Humane Society

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — There are furry friends galore at Capital Humane Society, including Gizmo, a 6-year-old black Pomeranian.

Nadia Postek, director of animal welfare at the shelter, brought Gizmo to the Channel 8 studio.

He came in as a stray but was never claimed by his owners.

Although he’s a little older, he has plenty of energy and spunk to keep you on your toes.

This Saturday, you can check out the humane society’s Clear the Shelter event.

Adoption fees for cats, kittens and dogs 5 months and older will be $50, and fees for critters are 50% off.

Also on Saturday, Scooters locations in town will donate 10% of your purchase to the shelter.
