Meet Hallie, Lincoln’s first baby of 2025 and of Generation Beta
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln welcomed Hallie, the first baby of the new year, on Wednesday.
Hallie Dalton was born at 12:15 a.m. on New Year’s Day at Bryan East Medical Center, weighing in at 6 pounds, 9 ounces.
Not only was she the first baby of 2025, but she was the first baby in Lincoln of the newest generation, Generation Beta.
Her parents, Reid and Marissa Dalton, were expecting Hallie to be born on New Year’s Eve.
But due to some delays, she was instead born shortly after midnight.
“I think it’ll be really cool for her, you know, being able to say, ‘I was the first baby born in the new year,'” Reid Dalton said.
