Memorial fund set up for Hannah Neville and unborn child Rynlee, family says
YORK, Neb. (KLKN) — The family of Hannah Neville says they remain in a waiting period, holding out for confirmation and hoping for answers as the investigation into her death continues.
Neville’s mother emphasized the importance of keeping Hannah’s story in the public eye and continuing to share any tips or information with law enforcement.
“It’s more important than ever that people don’t forget Hannah,” she said.
Neville’s mother sent a statement to Channel 8:
“Today, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who continues to stand with us and to share a few important updates. At this time, we are patiently waiting for the remains that were found to be formally identified. Because of this, it remains incredibly important that Hannah’s story continues to be shared and that any tips or information are still called in to law enforcement. The investigation is ongoing, and every detail matters. A memorial fund for Hannah and Rynlee has been established to honor their lives.”
If Venmo is easier, contributions can also be sent here. Any funds received through Venmo will be transferred directly into the memorial fund account.
The statement continued:
“Our family cannot begin to express how grateful we are to all law enforcement agencies, investigators, first responders, and support teams who continue working tirelessly, as well as the news media for continuing to share Hannah’s story with care and accuracy. Thank you to everyone for the love, support, strength, and prayers that continue to carry us through this. A special thank you to those who contributed to the care package we received on Saturday — it meant more to us than you will ever know. Please continue to keep Hannah and Rynlee in your prayers, along with everyone working so hard to bring answers and justice.”
In the midst of their grief, the family is finding ways to honor Hannah and her unborn child, Rynlee.
A memorial fund has been established in their names at Cornerstone Bank in York. The family says the fund enables those asking how to help to do so in a meaningful, lasting way.
The family also expressed deep gratitude to law enforcement, investigators, first responders, support teams, and the community for continuing to share Hannah’s story with care.
“For us, this moment is about two things: seeking justice and keeping Hannah and Rynlee’s names alive,” the family said.
The Lincoln Police Department said it will release more information regarding the case on Wednesday morning.
