Midday Interview: Get a Nebraska Passport stamp at Lincoln Children’s Zoo

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — There are just two months left to get all your Nebraska Passport stamps.

And if you have yet to check off the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, there’s plenty to do.

Zoo spokeswoman Erin Lenz and Madison Johnson, director of the Passport program, were in the Channel 8 studio on Thursday.

Lenz said many of the Passport visitors have not seen the zoo since its expansion in 2019.

Guests at the zoo can now climb with spider monkeys, feed giraffes and see the new cheetah cubs daily at 11 a.m.

Johnson said 80 people have already completed all 70 stops, and she expects that number to rise every day.

You have until Sept. 30 to gather all the stamps.
