Today: This afternoon, high temperatures reaching the 50s and 60s. There will be breezy NW winds5-15 mph through the afternoon hours. Sunshine will be out much of the day across NW and SE Nebraska with winds easing by 2PM.

Wednesday: Wednesday afternoon and evening, a few rain showers and thunderstorms develop across eastern Nebraska as winds begin to ramp up. A cold front will bring strong NW winds out west and SW winds further east. And this is just the start — the strongest winds are still to come!

Thursday: By Thursday morning, all of us will be experiencing strong NW wind gusts up to 50+ mph. Thursday afternoon will be WINDY and COLD across the state.
