Mild overnight temperatures 3/20/2021

Temperatures topped out in the mid-60s for the first day of spring today and it looks like the warmth will continue! We will stay mild in the mid to upper 40s tonight thanks to the gusty southerly winds. Wind gusts overnight could peak in the mid-30s and we will see increasing clouds. Sunday will be even warmer thanks to the strong winds, and highs will top out in the upper 60s. But the windy conditions will linger throughout most of the day and we won’t have as much sunshine. Our rain chances increase late in the evening on Sunday and eventually showers will make their way into the area leading into Monday morning. This storm system will move slowly and will likely dump several inches of rain over the area through Tuesday. Temperatures cool down a bit as a result, but we warm back up for the second half of next week.
