Milford School Board Meets To Discuss Superintendent’s Future

The Milford Public School Board met behind closed doors Wednesday night. They met to talk about the future of Superintendent Doug Eicher. He was arrested in Wilderness Park a few weeks ago during a sting operation. Eicher was arrested after police say he fondled a male undercover officer. Eicher had pleaded not guilty to a charge of public indecency. According to court documents, the charge was dropped when he agreed to enter a pre-trial diversion program. That's a probation-like program for first-time defendants who are eligible.

School officials did not make public what they discussed in Wednesday night. They did deliver a statement saying they won't say when a decision will be announced concerning Eicher's job status.
