An inmate who walked away from a Lincoln correctional facility was arrested after being found at a local restaurant, corrections officials said.
Viet Tran was reported missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln on Sunday.
Tran is serving a 13-to-26-year sentence for multiple convictions in Lancaster County including drug charges. After being arrested, he was taken by police to the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center (DEC).
CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.
