Missing woman found dead in Crete

According to Crete Police 20-year-old Ashley Sandoval, who was reported missing by her mother Saturday morning, has been found dead near Highway 33 in Crete.

The Crete Police and Saline County Sheriff’s office found Sandoval’s body in an open field near the Crete Inn, where she was reportedly staying.

Crete Police said foul play has been ruled out in Sandoval’s death.

The Nebraska State Patrol, Saline County Sheriff, and Crete Police are still investigating that situation
