Update: Missing woman found

Lincoln police are currently searching for a missing 76 year old woman, Lorene Leary.  She and her husband are staying at the Microtel Inn, 2505 Fairfield, while visiting from out of town.  When her husband awoke at 4 a.m. this morning, Lorene was not in their room.

Officers canvassed the area and conducted a search of the hotel, but Lorene was not located. Lorene is a black female, 5’4”, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  Family members advise that she had recent cataract surgery and struggles with dementia.  She was last seen wearing a black or grey hat, a dark jacket and light colored pants.  Lorene did not take any belongings and does not have a cell phone.
