Less than 25% of guns stolen from vehicles so far this year have been recovered.
One of those recovered was found at the scene of a homicide in Omaha, with another being found in a stolen car.

LPD said as the weather turns colder and you may be tempted to let your car warm up in the morning, do not leave a running vehicle unattended, locked or not.
