More lane closures coming to Normal Boulevard in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Thursday announced closures on two streets, including one of the city’s major roads.
Normal Boulevard between 33rd and 48th streets will have lanes closed in both directions starting Monday for mill and overlay work.
This work is part of a Lincoln on the Move street improvement project. According to LTU, it’s expected to be completed by mid-August.
Normal is currently closed between Van Dorn and 70th streets.
The improvement project stretches from 33rd to 70th streets and has included several lane closures since work began last fall.
Also starting Monday, Park Boulevard between Van Dorn and South streets will close for railroad track repairs.
LTU said the project is expected to be completed by Aug. 1.
